Weld feasibility studies are typically conducted early in the product concept (idea) phase to determine if a proposed laser or CD joining method will work for your application. A Weld Feasibility Study is conducted with parts you supply on which the suggested laser or CD weld is conducted.
PECo will attempt to join your samples using laser or CD welding applications, analyze the results and provide you with a process development suggestion. When appropriate, PECo may modify your samples to enhance the weldability of the parts. In most cases only a few samples or surrogates are needed but occasionally more may be required to conduct a sequential study.
From weld feasibility studies to final output you can count on the experience of PECo’s welding experts to create the highest quality weld for your particular material and specification needs! PECo’s many years of welding and welding system design experience gives us a vast amount of knowledge to draw on to develop the best weld for you.
